Aiko x Wynwood Walls Face Mask

AIKO, aka LADY AIKO, was born and raised in Tokyo before moving to New York City in the mid 1990s. She is one of the most important female street artists known for her ability to combine western art movements and eastern technical artistic skills. Already creating art since a young age, her art careen in NYC began when she started working for Takashi Murakami. She assisted Murakami’s studio in Brooklyn until the late 90s going on to a direct biography on the artists (Superflat” 1998). She met up with two American artists, the three of them would come to establish the group now known as FAILE. Creating work within the collective locally and abroad for a number of years, she moved on and established herself as LADY AIKO in 2006.

AIKO's large scale works indoors, and outdoors are installed in many cities, including Miami’s Wynwood Walls in 2009, New York City’s Bowery Wall in 2013; as the first female artist, and Coney Art Walls in 2015/2016/2017, all three curated by Jeffrey Deitch.

I absolutely adore this mask

This mask is the BEST. Incredibly breathable, amazing design, comfortable around the ears and no fog from my glasses. My sister tried mine on then bought 10 for her family. Absolutely love it.

Well made mask in truly nice patterns and colors

These are masks that actually fit your face. They come in different sizes and that allows to choose the one that fits securely. I love that the design has a seam right over the nose, a wire to adjust to your face and there is another seam by the chin. You could say that these masks are contoured. The only reason why I didn't give the review a 5 starts it's because I still find it hard to breathe with it. Maybe that is just me. I love the fabric is soft and washes well without loosing shape or color. In summary. I recommend these masks.
